The challenge
The company operates across a broad set of simultaneous sales and fulfillment channels: Amazon Vendor Central for wholesale supply into Amazon, retail POS for in-store locations through Square, DTC eCommerce, and Infoplus 3PL for physical order fulfillment. Each channel operated with separate data flows and required Brightpearl to serve as the central OMS — but without integration, channel data existed in silos, creating inventory discrepancies, manual reconciliation requirements, and fulfillment delays across the entire operation.
What we built
- Integrated Amazon Vendor Central EDI workflows with Brightpearl for automated purchase order acknowledgment, advance ship notice generation, and vendor compliance management
- Connected Square POS to Brightpearl so all in-store retail transactions posted automatically as Brightpearl orders with real-time inventory deduction
- Built Brightpearl-to-Infoplus 3PL order routing integration for automated DTC fulfillment dispatch with shipment tracking flowing back to Brightpearl
- Established cross-channel inventory synchronization within Brightpearl, aggregating available stock across all channels into a unified, accurate inventory position
- Implemented channel-specific order tagging and reporting logic within Brightpearl to segment performance and fulfillment data by sales channel
The outcome
- Brightpearl established as the authoritative OMS hub for all The company sales channels, eliminating siloed data management across Amazon, POS, DTC, and 3PL
- Amazon Vendor Central compliance requirements met through automated EDI workflows, reducing chargeback risk
- In-store POS inventory deductions reflected in Brightpearl in real time, preventing cross-channel stock discrepancies
- Fulfillment team gained unified operational visibility across all channels from a single platform, supporting coordinated inventory and order management at scale
