The challenge
The company, the world's leading dash camera brand, was expanding rapidly into the US retail market through major retailers that required strict EDI compliance. Their SPS Commerce trading partner integrations needed to connect with Sage Intacct so retail purchase orders could be processed automatically at scale — without disrupting the speed of their US market expansion.
What we built
- Connected SPS Commerce trading partner integrations with Sage Intacct to automate inbound retail purchase order processing
- Configured trading partner-specific EDI transaction sets to meet the compliance requirements of each major US retailer
- Automated outbound EDI document generation — order acknowledgments, ASNs, and invoices — triggered by Sage Intacct fulfillment events
- Mapped US retailer PO data to Sage Intacct sales order structure, including item identifiers, quantities, and ship-to locations
- Established a scalable integration architecture capable of onboarding additional US retail trading partners as market penetration grew
The outcome
- Retail purchase orders from US trading partners flowed into Sage Intacct automatically, supporting The company's expansion velocity
- EDI compliance with major US retailers was established from day one, protecting new retail partnerships
- Order processing capacity scaled without adding headcount, keeping pace with rapid US market demand growth
- The company's operations team maintained focus on market expansion rather than manual EDI and order management tasks
