The company operates one of the highest-order-velocity beauty brands in the affordable segment, processing thousands of orders daily across multiple storefronts. Their existing fulfillment workflow required manual intervention to route orders to their Infoplus 3PL partner, creating bottlenecks that threatened on-time shipment performance. Without automated tracking sync, customer-facing order updates lagged behind actual fulfillment activity.
What we built
- Built a real-time Brightpearl-to-Infoplus order routing integration that automatically dispatches new orders as they are confirmed in Brightpearl
- Implemented inventory level synchronization between Infoplus warehouse stock and Brightpearl so availability reflected actual 3PL holdings at all times
- Configured automated shipment tracking ingestion from Infoplus back into Brightpearl order records, triggering customer notification workflows
- Engineered high-throughput queue management to sustain the brand's peak order velocity without processing delays or data loss
- Established order status lifecycle mapping between Brightpearl and Infoplus statuses to provide a consistent operational view across both systems
The outcome
- Eliminated manual order routing steps, enabling the fulfillment team to process significantly higher daily order volumes without additional headcount
- Tracking data sync latency reduced to near real-time, improving customer communication accuracy during peak promotional periods
