    The challenge

    The company sells premium lighted vanity mirrors, makeup stations, and beauty storage solutions — products that are both high in demand and complex to fulfill due to their size and fragility. Routing orders from Brightpearl to their Infoplus 3PL partner required manual steps that slowed fulfillment response times and introduced the possibility of orders being missed or delayed. Tracking data from Infoplus was not automatically returned to Brightpearl, leaving customer service teams without shipment visibility.

    What we built

    • Built a Brightpearl-to-Infoplus order routing integration that automatically dispatches confirmed orders to Infoplus for fulfillment without manual intervention
    • Implemented product-level routing rules within the integration to direct fragile and oversized SKUs to appropriate Infoplus fulfillment workflows with correct handling instructions
    • Configured automated shipment tracking ingestion from Infoplus back into Brightpearl order records upon warehouse dispatch, triggering customer notification workflows
    • Established inventory synchronization between Infoplus warehouse stock and Brightpearl so online availability reflected actual 3PL holdings in near real time
    • Built order exception alerting for fulfillment holds or Infoplus processing errors, enabling the customer service team to respond proactively

    The outcome

    • Order fulfillment cycle time reduced as automated routing eliminated manual dispatch steps between Brightpearl and Infoplus
    • Customer tracking notification accuracy improved with automated tracking data sync from Infoplus to Brightpearl upon shipment
    • Inventory availability accuracy on sales channels improved as Infoplus holdings were reflected in Brightpearl in near real time
