The challenge
The company manufactures specialized scientific measurement and environmental testing equipment, managing production and inventory in Cetec ERP while selling through a WooCommerce store. Orders placed online required manual entry into Cetec, and inventory levels in the ERP were not reflected on the storefront in real time, risking overselling of made-to-order or low-stock equipment. The disconnect between systems slowed order processing and strained the operations team.

- Integrated WooCommerce with Cetec ERP to automatically create sales orders in Cetec when orders are placed on the WooCommerce store
- Built real-time inventory synchronization from Cetec ERP to WooCommerce so published stock levels always reflect manufacturing and warehouse availability
- Configured product data sync from Cetec to WooCommerce to keep SKUs, descriptions, and specifications current across both systems
- Automated order status and fulfillment updates flowing from Cetec back to WooCommerce so customers receive accurate shipment and delivery notifications
- Implemented error handling and alerting for any integration failures to ensure no orders are lost between systems
