The challenge
The company, the media ministry of the the team of the Presentation, sells Catholic educational media and devotional resources through WooCommerce to support their non-profit mission. eCommerce revenue, order data, and donor-related transactions needed to flow into Sage Intacct for non-profit financial management, fund accounting, and mission impact reporting — but the lack of integration required time-consuming manual reconciliation.
What we built
- Integrated WooCommerce with Sage Intacct to automatically post eCommerce sales as structured accounting transactions
- Mapped order revenue to Sage Intacct fund and program dimensions to support non-profit fund accounting requirements
- Automated customer and donor data synchronization from WooCommerce into Sage Intacct for consolidated constituent records
- Configured tax and shipping fee handling to ensure correct account classification within the non-profit chart of accounts
- Delivered a repeatable sync cadence aligned to The company's reporting and grant documentation cycles
The outcome
- eCommerce revenue posted to Sage Intacct automatically, eliminating manual entry and freeing ministry staff for mission work
- Fund accounting visibility improved, enabling The company to report accurately on program-level revenue and impact
- Month-end financial close was accelerated by removing manual WooCommerce-to-Sage reconciliation steps
- The integration provided a scalable financial automation foundation as the ministry's media catalog and audience continued to grow
