    What's the difference between managed EDI and a self-service EDI platform?

    A self-service platform gives you the tools — you still own trading partner onboarding, mapping, certification testing, and ongoing exception management. APIXX Managed EDI takes on all of that operational work. You connect your ERP, and we run the EDI layer end-to-end.

    Most suppliers are live with their first retailer in 2–6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the trading partner's certification process and your ERP setup. Walmart and Target typically take 4–6 weeks; smaller distributors are often live in 2–3 weeks.

    What happens when a retailer changes their routing guide?

    That's our job. Our compliance team monitors retailer change notifications, updates the relevant mappings, runs validation tests, and deploys the changes — usually before the change goes live. You'll get a notification, but no work.

    How is pricing structured?

    Managed EDI is a predictable monthly subscription based on the number of trading partners and document volume, with a fixed-fee onboarding package. There are no per-transaction VAN fees buried in the contract.
