Automate order, item and sku mapping, settlement and fees, returns and refunds, deposit reference between Walmart Marketplace and Sage Intacct — with monitoring and managed support from APIWORX.
APIWORX connects the systems your business already uses and takes responsibility for the agreed integration workflows after go-live. The exact objects, direction and cadence are fixed in writing during scoping.
But connecting the applications is only the beginning. The work that costs you time sits in the process running between them.
APIWORX automates that process end to end — the objects moving between Walmart Marketplace and Sage Intacct, the ownership rules that decide which system wins, the exceptions when a record will not post, and the monitoring that tells someone before your team finds out from a customer.

This page is for finance and operations teams selling on Walmart Marketplace with Sage Intacct as the accounting system of record.
A single low-volume channel can be handled with a periodic journal. Managed integration earns its place when marketplace volume, fee complexity, returns or multi-entity reporting make manual posting slow and error-prone.
A representative scope. The settlement source and posting level are confirmed before build.
| Object | From | To | System of record | Trigger | If it fails | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Order | Walmart Marketplace | Sage Intacct | Walmart | Order acknowledged and eligible | Held in exception queue with the validation error | APIWORX |
| Item and SKU mapping | Walmart Marketplace | Sage Intacct | Agreed in scoping | On change | Unmapped SKUs reported before postings fail | APIWORX |
| Settlement and fees | Walmart settlement report | Sage Intacct | Settlement report | Settlement published | Batch held for finance review | APIWORX |
| Returns and refunds | Walmart Marketplace | Sage Intacct | Walmart | Return processed | Queued with the order reference | APIWORX |
| Deposit reference | Walmart settlement report | Sage Intacct | Settlement report | Settlement published | Held so the bank line is not part-matched | APIWORX |
| Dimension values | Agreed mapping | Sage Intacct | Your finance team | With each posting | Posting held rather than defaulted | APIWORX with your finance team |
Commission, fulfilment fees, adjustments and returns all sit in between. Each is posted against the settlement reference so the deposit reconciles as a whole rather than being balanced by hand.
Marketplace activity usually needs an entity, location or channel dimension for reporting. Values are mapped explicitly, and a posting missing a required dimension is held instead of defaulted.
Returns and adjustments often follow the sale by weeks. Cut-off rules are agreed once so the close is repeatable and prior periods are not quietly rewritten.
