Automate order, routing decision, fulfilment request, shipment and tracking, available inventory between BigCommerce and Amazon MCF — with monitoring and managed support from APIWORX.
APIWORX connects the systems your business already uses and takes responsibility for the agreed integration workflows after go-live. The exact objects, direction and cadence are fixed in writing during scoping.
But connecting the applications is only the beginning. The work that costs you time sits in the process running between them.
APIWORX automates that process end to end — the objects moving between BigCommerce and Amazon MCF, the ownership rules that decide which system wins, the exceptions when a record will not post, and the monitoring that tells someone before your team finds out from a customer.

This page is for operations teams selling on BigCommerce who already hold inventory in Amazon's network and want direct-to-consumer orders fulfilled from it without manual submission.
A handful of MCF orders a week can be submitted by hand. Managed integration earns its place when routing rules, partial availability and tracking writeback across several fulfilment locations become a standing daily cost.
A representative scope. Exact records, routing rules and MCF eligibility are confirmed before build.
| Object | From | To | System of record | Trigger | If it fails | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Order | BigCommerce | Routing rules | BigCommerce | Order reaches the agreed ready-to-fulfil status | Held in exception queue with the validation error | APIWORX |
| Routing decision | Agreed rule set | Amazon MCF or your own location | Rule set agreed in scoping | At order release | Order held for an operations decision | APIWORX |
| Fulfilment request | Routing rules | Amazon MCF | Amazon | Order routed to MCF | Retried, then queued with Amazon's own response | APIWORX |
| Shipment and tracking | Amazon MCF | BigCommerce | Amazon | Shipment confirmed | Retried, then queued for review | APIWORX |
| Available inventory | Amazon MCF | BigCommerce | Agreed in scoping | On the agreed cadence | Last known quantity retained; gap reported | APIWORX |
| Cancellation or unfulfillable | Amazon MCF | BigCommerce and operations | Amazon | Amazon reports the order cannot ship | Raised as an exception, never closed silently | APIWORX |
Routing gets done in a spreadsheet because availability sits in two places. The rules you already apply mentally — SKU, destination, service expectation, stock position — are expressed as configuration and applied at order release.
MCF returns unfulfillable and cancellation outcomes. Those come back as exceptions with the order reference and Amazon's own reason, so the order can be re-routed instead of quietly stalling.
Shipment confirmations and tracking numbers are written back onto the BigCommerce order, so service and the customer notification both work from the storefront record.
