The challenge
The company, a specialty retailer of radios and consumer electronics, sells through both Amazon and their own channels, with Brightpearl as their central order management system. Amazon's marketplace complexity — including multi-channel listing requirements, FBA and FBM order handling, and inventory allocation — exceeded what standard connectors could reliably manage. the team needed an enhanced Amazon-Brightpearl integration capable of handling the full scope of their Amazon operations without manual intervention.
What we built
- Developed an enhanced Amazon connector for Brightpearl that handles both FBA and FBM order types, automatically routing each into the appropriate Brightpearl fulfillment workflow
- Built product listing synchronization from Brightpearl to Amazon for catalog management, including support for variation listings and electronics-specific attribute mapping
- Implemented real-time inventory allocation logic that maintains separate stock pools in Brightpearl for Amazon FBM and own-channel sales to prevent overselling
- Configured automated repricing data feeds and pricing synchronization from Brightpearl to Amazon product listings
- Established comprehensive order status and shipment tracking synchronization from Brightpearl back to Amazon to maintain seller performance metrics
