The company, a sustainable and natural beauty brand, built a loyal DTC customer base through Shopify but found that operational complexity was scaling faster than the team could manage manually. Without a direct connection between their Shopify storefront and a back-office OMS, order management, inventory control, and customer data lived in disconnected systems — requiring manual effort that limited their ability to grow without adding headcount. They needed Shopify tightly integrated with Brightpearl to put their operations on an automated, scalable footing.
What we built
- Deployed the Shopify–Brightpearl integration to automate order sync from the DTC storefront into Brightpearl for centralized order processing and fulfillment management
- Configured real-time inventory synchronization from Brightpearl back to Shopify, ensuring customers see accurate stock levels that reflect ongoing sales and fulfillment activity
- Automated customer record creation and updates within Brightpearl from Shopify order data, building a unified customer database to support CRM and retention efforts
- Established automated fulfillment and tracking status updates from Brightpearl to Shopify, keeping customers informed throughout the post-purchase journey
- Validated the integration against The company' product catalog and order patterns to ensure reliable performance across their SKU range and order volume
