The challenge
The Professional Pickleball Association Tour sells official merchandise and event tickets through its BigCommerce storefront, generating revenue streams that required precise financial tracking within Sage Intacct. As a professional sports organization subject to strict financial oversight, manual data entry between the commerce platform and accounting system introduced reconciliation risk and reporting delays. The organization needed every transaction category — merchandise, ticket sales, and associated tax data — flowing into Intacct automatically and accurately.
What we built
- Built a BigCommerce-to-Sage Intacct integration that automatically posts order revenue, tax, and fee data into corresponding Intacct financial dimensions

- Implemented customer record synchronization between BigCommerce and Intacct so customer data was consistent across commerce and financial systems
- Established automated reconciliation data flows, ensuring daily BigCommerce sales totals matched Intacct ledger entries without manual intervention
- Built error alerting and exception reporting so the finance team was notified immediately of any transaction posting failures
