Instructions To Get Started With DSCO Brightpearl Connector

BrightConnect allows you to connect Brightpearl and DSCO. Are you ready to find the superpowers of your productivity?

Easily sync all the Purchase Order from DSCO to Brightpearl as a Sales, Sync Shipment, Inventory & Invoice to DSCO back from Brightpearl.

Step 1 – Email us to contact@apiworx.com to get an Account setup for you.

Step 2 – Once we create an account for you, you’ll get an email with Login details. Login to the Portal & go to the settings page to configure your integration.

Step 3 – Go to API settings, Connect your Brightpearl account & DSCO.

Step 4 – Go to DSCO tab under Settings > Product & Customer tab, & select if you want the system to create the Customer in Brightpearl automatically or not. If not, there is an option to map the Customer between platforms manually under as well Customer Mapping page

Step 5 – Match Brightpearl products to DSCO Items

Our portal matches the Brightpearl products to the DSCO items using the unique ID. You can select a field from both the platform where you store the unique ID of your Product/item.

Not maintaining the Unique ID between the platforms? No worries, Our BrightConnect app allow to manually map the products between the platforms as well. See here for more details.

 

Step 6 – Enable/Disable the Sync of Inventory from Brightpearl to DSCO.

Step 7 – Go to Order tab, Select a Default Order status to get sent while creates Sales in Brightpearl

Step 8 – Set the default values which system will use while creating Sales in Brightpearl.

Step 9 – Set the Mapping of Shipping method between the platform so that our system sync the correct value of acceptable shipping method in DSCO while syncing Shipments. One can also upload the DSCO acceptable shipment method in Advance to map it with Brighpearl using the Bulk Upload button present in the settings.

Step 10 – Set the Mapping of Warehouses between the platform so that our system sync the correct value of Warehouse in DSCO. One can also upload the DSCO Warehouses in Advance to map it with Brighpearl using the Bulk Upload button present in the settings.

Step 11 – Set the trigger for the Order Shipment sync from Brightpearl to DSCO

There are two types of triggers present in the option which gives you the flexibility to select one as per your business process.

  1. Sales Order Status Update – If this trigger selected, then you’ll need to select a status in which you want the integration to initiate the sync of Shipment to DSCO.
  2. Goods Out note created – If this trigger selected, then whenever you create a Goods out note against a sales order in Brightpearl, the integration will initiate the sync of Shipment to DSCO. (Partial Goods out note not supported currently)

Step 12 – Set the default status of Sales for the Cancellation sync of Order from DSCO
