How To Get Brightpearl API Keys To Connect With BrightConnect?

To enable the Lightspeed Retail POS integration with Brightpearl, you’ll need to get the API details from your Brightpearl account. Follow the simple instructions below to get the API keys from your Brightpearl.

Step 1 – Login to your Brightpearl Account.

Step 2 – Click on “App Store”.

Step 3 – Then click & go to the Private Apps tab.

Step 4 – Click on “Add private app” button.

Step 5 – A pop up will get displayed where first, you’ll need to select App type = Staff app & along with that Enter name of the app by which you’ll remember it and add identifier. Once all information is filled out, click on “Install” button.

Step 6 – You’ll get a successful message, & will be able to see the reference & the Token in the Table columns as shown below.

Step 7 – Copy the Reference & Token from there & use it with the Brightpearl’s Account code(through which you login to Brightpearl) to insert it to the “Connect Brightpearl” page after registration.

Note: The Brightpearl account can be managed later under the API & Notifications Setup page.
