Common Errors In Products Sync To OnBuy & How To Resolve It #

Technical detail value cannot be empty

This error generally comes up in 2 cases:
1) Please make sure that you have mapped the technical details fully under the Classification of your Product. It will look like below shown in “Select Category” tab of your Classification.

2. Please make sure the Product in Brightpearl do have the values in the fields that got mapped in Technical details as shown above in image. So, if you mapped Width, Length, Height & any color option then your Product data must have that value in Brightpearl’s Product that you want to create in OnBuy.

Add the missing values and come up to Product logs to click on Re-sync button for that product.

Default Image is Required

This error generally comes up in 2 cases:
1) Please make sure that you have mapped one of your Product Custom field(where you maintain the Image URL of the product) to the Image field of OnBuy Product. You can review the mapping under Sync Config page.

2. If the above mapping is done, then there is one another place to look for, which is in your Brightpearl. Please make sure the Product in Brightpearl do have image URL so that our system can use it to create Product in OnBuy.

Add the image URL and come up to Product logs to click on Re-sync button for the product for which image get added.

EAN Barcode 13 digit number is required

This error comes up when the Brightpearl Product record doesn’t have the EAN or UPS number to use in OnBuy product creation or listing. Please add the EAN & come up to Product logs click on Re-sync for which you fixed the EAN missing problem.

Handling time must be integer value or less than equal to 10 days

This error comes up when the Brightpearl Product’s Handling days value is one of below:
1. More than 10 days as Handling
2. Not a number as value.
3. Make sure to enter the data like 3, or 4, 9 & not like 3.5, 4.5 etc.
